The renowned Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass, in Neenah, WI will host its inaugural GLASS Arts Festival August 11. GLASS stands for Glass Lakefront Show and Sale. It's free, fun, and fascinating. It replaces the former museum-sponsored arts festival, which took place in Riverside Park for 45 years.
The festival now centers on the museum’s mission: glass art and glass art experiences. Providing distinction from other art festivals in the area, this fun-filled, admission-free community event will support glass artists, collectors, and enthusiasts, as well as our vendor partners and greater community with a new experience celebrating everything glass.
The museum has issued a call to glass artists who might wish to enter the festival. Artists will enjoy many amenities such as opportunities to explore inspiring exhibitions in the museum, $3,000+ in cash prizes, and a chance at a future solo exhibition in the museum. Water and food will be delivered directly to the booths, appetizers, and beverages on Friday, a continental breakfast on Saturday, and booth sitting services will be included. Artists will be provided with a 10’ x 10’ booth space, under a festival tent. See more information here.
