"Summertime, and the living is. . .Pilchuck?" It could be for you.

This is the 50th anniversary of the remarkable vortex that became the renowned and rollicking Pilchuck Glass School. Almost all the renowned and revered names in glass art have Pilchucked at one time or another.

Pilchuck plans on resuming its full summer workshop program. You'll need to hurry—applications for workshops and staff positions are due February 1. Scholarships are available, and staff positions are paid (in many ways, including money).

The list of workshop ops is worth a look, whether you can go this summer or not. Fall courses are listed as well.
